We are a small business but there is always lots to do.

 

We have vacancies for part time studio assistants to help out with and learn about all areas of running a small creative business. Placements are individually tailored to make sure you gain experience in the most relevant areas to your future plans. These could be product design, making and bench work, photography, business admin and accounts, social media and marketing or a combination of them all.

Placements are usually based on a fixed term and and are between one and three days a week. Working hours are generally 9.30 - 2.30 but this is flexible.

All placements start with a short interview for you to ask me questions and make sure that your work experience here will be useful to you. You might want to gain making and production skills, add a creative reference to your CV or experience day to day life in a small making based business in preparation for running your own. Placements are unpaid but in return for your time I offer a mentoring session to help you explore and prepare for your own creative career, written references and bench access.
